Hi John,
I´m happy to see the fruits of your efforts finished in this competition.
Now the quantity and quality of competitors will grow and grow.
I´m not the only one in this thread anymore.
That´s good.
Greetings from Vienna to Peterborough, Herbert
Herbert,
I'm in good company. Your model has had many admirers dropping in for a peek.
John
Hello John,
a wonderful model, built simply perfect. How about doing some more pictures, some close-ups and angles from a mini-man's view, to show some more excerpts and details from these stunning facades?
BTW, I hope to finish my Pardubice right in time, I'm a bit under pressure, but hopefully everything will be done right in time.
Best regards from

Thank you Hagen. Your comments are appreciated.
Jens, Here are a few more shots as you suggest. Thanks for the positive feedback. Pleased to hear that Pardubice will make the deadline.
And another one.

Thank you all for your kind comments.
Today I received in the mail two lovely prize card models. I would like to thank Jan for arranging overseas shipping and all the administrators of Kartonbau.de for running the competition and issuing the prize models to the contestants. It was very much appreciated.
The modern church and the stately house will be built and posted on the site in the fall. They will carry a very special importance to me.
Thank you,
John
John
Congratulations, John! What is in store for 2008?
Hello Fred,
Another Ontarian at the end of the 401!
Thanks for the comment.
Right now, I'm working off-line on Montmartre, Le Sacré-Coeur et La Place du Tertre at 1:750 by Pascaline. This winter I had planned to build Pardubice, but Karlstein may come first. I got the model at quite a discount as Scale Model International is closing his business.
Cheers...John
Very, very, very, very BEAUTIFUL!!
Cheers, Gloomy
Hello,
In gathering material for an illustrated digital catalogue of models, I came upon this very extensive photographic collection on pictures of Chambord:

Excellent study of the chateau in photos.
