Hello to all of you.
It's been a long time since I have not make too much and I decided to make a model not too complicated (that is what I first thought).
I saw this model on the Canon web site and afetr making their Mount st Michel and Notre Dame before, I was thinking that it was a model of that size and complexity.
Conclusion : it is quite huge and all those domes are not the simpliest parts to form and glue.
But all in all it is a good model for an amazing subject. As far as I know, there are not so much mosquee paper models. And this mosquee is very impressive, I visited her when I was in Istanbul and it is a real wonder.
I used a gold pencil to give a brigtest touch to all the domes's summits but the pictures don't give the impression, I must try to take pictures with sunlight only but the weather is very cloudy.
I have still the tiniest domes to make and find a diorama and case to protect her.
Here are some of my progress pictures
Best regards
