This small kit is a good example of what I like in Erkotyp: detail. The subject looks simple and is printed in just 6 A4 pages but it has no less than 326 parts, ignoring the ones that the builder is supposed to make
I enclose a picture of the kit, another of the windows and doors for the main building and a third of the walls of that building.

I enclose two pictures of access ladders and other detail for the main building. So far, everything is going smoothly
-
Well, this was an exercise in patience but I just couldn't leave all the small light blue bits here. It looks much better this way.
-
It is an easy task to make the roof. Putting it in place is a bit more complicated. It is commonplace, for Erkotyp, to make you build some parts. They can be built of wood or of paper and, not surprisingly, I always make them in paper. Those parts, in this model, serve to support the roof and they are visible in the attached pictures.
-
Time now to go to smaller buildings. I enclose construction pictures of the first one, as well as the entrance gates.
-
I enclose some more pictures of another small building.
-
The last assemblies are two horse-driven vehicles. Without the horses, of course...
-
Some pictures of the completed model. I hope you enjoyed the construction report

Rick,
nice little farm, very well done.
Now, if you could find some animals in the correct scale and maybe put some wood-wool (or whatever it is called in English) in the carts, it would surely begin to live on its own.

To you too, günter I'd bet the subject of your picture was drawn by Mr. Vyskovsky as well. The style and detail look very much the same. -
Hi, Rick
I did enjoy your report, well built and photographed.
The work of Richard Vykovský always amazes me. What other models of him did you do?Best regards, Thomas

Hi Ricardo,
Have you ever had any communication with Richard Vyskovsky? I am sure he would appreciate having his models being reproduced with such skill. Your collection of his Erkotyp models must be huge.
Outstanding work.Cheers...John

@ günter - eh, eh, it was an easy one :engel:
@ Glue me! - Thx for the comment :). You can see almost all the other Erkotyp kits I built in this site. They are in the 'Altneu Synagogue Prag' thread.
@ John - Well, I contacted Erkotyp over 1 year ago. I sent a picture to prove that I had exhausted their available architecture subjects and asked for more
Mr Vyskovsky very kindly answered me and said they were about to release what would turn out to be the Medieval Town. You can see in the attached picture that the 'paper work' is done but I'm still scratching my ead to find out a decent way to make a base and a place at home to put the completed model.
I build models at an alarming speed and space at home is getting harder to find Thats, partly, why my next model will be another vehicle: the ratio work/size is much bigger than in buildings -
Ricardo,
Thank you for posting the medieval village. It takes my breath away! Herbert, Jens and I were discussing on the Pernstein Thread, the Czech city model as a lifetime project. You supercede all that thinking with your work!
Beyond belief!
