Hello Friends,
While my sister has been visiting us these last six weeks, there has not been a lot of time for the craft table. But, over the course of her visit, I built Micromodels set ARC X, Alders Gate which dates back to the "Roman Occupation" of London and which was razed to the ground in 1761. You can find more information and a few illustrations here. The base is dry brushed coffee grounds.
While I was building Alders Gate, Helen who paints murals professionally, was busy painting. What an enjoyable way to pass the time!
Sadly, her visit ended today and she is already most of the way back to the states. She like Mia and I, has developed a lifelong love for Germany and the people.
Kind Regards,
Cris
