Hallo, this is a beta build of the Royal Navy's HMS Victoria, sunk in collision with the Camperdown in 1892 off of Beirut, Lebanon. I start the build sveral weeks ago, so I have lots of pictures to post just to catch up. Those who have seen the GBM Lavoisier will know that this is a well thought out and very detailed model. Lavoisier is available from Gremir, and so will Victoria, likely in both 1/250 and 1/200 scales. She is waterline only. So, without further ado, let's get started.
The frame is built from 1mm card and is very strong; it is designed to prevent any hint of warping. The homemade chisel blade is handy for cutting the ends of the slots.
