[Shipyard 034] Papegojan 1627

This was my first time building a sailboat, and I had absolutely no confidence in completing it. As a result, I didn't document the initial stages of the hull's construction; the filming only started from when the hull was basically finished.

The hull was made directly from 1mm thick kraft paper.

The model making went exceptionally smoothly; I can hardly believe this is my first time making a sailboat.

I didn't know how to make rigging equipment, so I just made it blindly.

The cable making was quite difficult, but it was completed smoothly.

The sails are made of Chinese Xuan paper, giving them an exceptionally fine texture.

The base features a Scorpio design. Actually, this was a birthday gift for my wife, and completing it in a month was a surprisingly enjoyable and unexpected crafting experience.
