I decided to start this project before I opened the halinski version

Interesting approach. Love to see that.

I have to say, it's supposed to be a designer's job.

Obviously, the opening for the cannon is not in the right place and the side walls of the landing gear bay protrude 0.5mm。But with this method I can detect these errors in advance and fix them in cad and then use the laser cutter to cut the keel.

My thread is posted in the wrong section, is there any way to move it?
-
No problem, I just moved it.

Thanks, and then, the belated cardboard part

When I saw these errors, it was hard to believe that this was a computer-designed drawing

Hello Lisiming,
yes, there are some basic flaws with this model, the red and yellow bands being two of the most obvious.
As far as I recall severall modellers did not finish this 262 due to its flaws but with your method you should be able to overcome the obstacles.
Kind regards
Zaphod

Computer designed Yes but the author never made a test built.

But for most people, they're actually paying for a book of model that cannot build.
I was so troubled by this error that I actually made another mistake. The penultimate skin was glued 0.1mm out of position, resulting in the 4th skin needing to compensate for 0.8mm in order to make the tail perpendicular to the fuselage!

This is what puzzles me the most. There are pictures of the trial mould on the back cover and the problem isn't that bad, could it be that GPM changed the drawing after the trial mould to cause the error?By the way, I really hate this mouldy cheese-like blue colour of the drawings, I can barely control the urge to repaint them
-
Yes, you`re right. The blue colour is near to RLM 78 than to the more pale blue RLM 76.......but don`t worry.
Kind regards
HaJo

what can i say……
Exactly what I wrote above. "......the author never made a test built."
I'am confident you will solve it.
