Hello everyone, long time no see, I'm back again. The FM-2 Wildcat fighter jet produced this time is produced by CARDARMY. Starting from March 2, 2024, the production of this aircraft model will begin.

I am accustomed to using jewelry to enhance the rivet details on the surface of airplanes. Although it took me a week, the final result was still good.

Next, I will choose to make the engine for this aircraft.

First, I will make the base of the engine.

I am preparing to challenge myself to make a more realistic engine.

I designed and used a 3D printer to create a mold for a more neat and tidy engine cylinder heat sink.

And use a compass knife to batch produce uniformly sized discs.

Continue to create more details. This is a very tedious project, where each cylinder has dozens of discs to be pasted in sequence, which requires a lot of patience.

Continuing with the production, it took me a month to complete the production of this jet. Including adding details such as pipelines.

Based on historical photos, I have modified some parts to make them look more realistic.

Continue to create details. I modified the air filter by replacing the original model parts with metal mesh, making it look better.

Next, make the fairing. I use spherical tools to add spherical effects to the parts. This will make the overall fairing look streamlined like a real aircraft.

For the convenience of displaying the details inside, I used a magnet as a tool to fix the fairing. This makes it easy to remove and install.

All progress so far. Next, I made the propeller.
