Hello, colleagues. Petro Shchomak is working on a panorama of 18th century Lviv. All the buildings as well as the geometry of the locations are authentic. The scale is 1:150. The panorama is 60% created. Once completed, many models will be published for architectural modelling enthusiasts. In this thread I will update the process of creating this layout.

Hello Zhirayr,
a fascinating project, reminds me of Vyskowskis "Medieval Town" which is of a similar scale but entirely fictitious.
As far as I can make it our Petros houses and churches are wonderfully detailed, chimneys and tiny windows in the roofs, are the windows and doors in the facades set back?
I would love to see some close up fotographs, is this possible?
Kind regardsZaphod

Hello Zhirayr,
thank you so much for the pictures. The whole quarter is very lifelike with the church as the highligt of course, its roof has a very strange form indeed, must be difficult to reproduce and die arcades are excellent.
Kind regards
Zaphod

This is a really fascinating project. Would you like to share some background information? What kind of sources do you use for the geometrical data? How do you deal with missing pieces of information? What software do you use?

Hello, Johnnes!
I can't answer your question because I'm not a developer or designer. I only inform about the progress of this project. I'm sorry. Perhaps in the future there may be a more extended answer to your question, especially if a developer joins this forum, which I am currently working on.

Nevertheless thank you
