The steam locomotive together with the tender was developed on the basis of the original construction plans and I hope it will stay as faithfully as possible by me
mapped in a cardboard model enriched with laser cut elements and some 3D printed elements.
I do not know what but it will turn out in the wash.

I start the construction from the tender as I have lasers for it. It is a tender with the German designation K4T32 on P.K.P. it was called 32D43

At the beginning, the frames are reinforced with inserts, something like underlining in ships. As for beer cardboard, I recommend a better gray one. I had to replace it with a gray one because the inserts were bending due to stress. Reinforced with CA glue and primed and polished.
I also started to cut out small nuggets like cabinets and stiffening the coal box. The time will come for the veneer, let the skeleton rest, which would eliminate the collapse of the inserts. -

I did not do much. I added the rounded parts of the tender tub, the coal chest
No door for now because I plan to open it to some way. Now I am starting to cut the frame with the clutch box and the endcarriage with the drawbar system of the hook at the rear of the tender. The whole is sprinkled with primer as the paint dries i will finnish with fine grain sandpaper and we fly on -
Not much today. Part of the tender frame, namely metal sheets with a yoke under the bogies with friction inserts.

Today I made parts of the tender support, namely the front coupling box with the coupling pin bearing and the guides for the buffers. Bumper spring between the locomotive and the tender. Rear coupling box with bumper seats, hook guide and draw gear. I also embedded the water inlets with sieves and glued the supports for the carbon box. I also made an imitation of welds on the dividing line of the water box.

Hello, a few photos from the construction site
Compressed air tank, shut-off valve and dehydrator, I also made a few small parts such as piping hangers, tension spring. Now I'm starting to play with brake wires and heating part piping on the tender.

Hi René Pinos, Philipp Tietz, Joon Kwon . Thanks for words of appreciation. This is precise hand drill with very small drill bits Ø 0.5 mm or even smaller. Something like this below

I use the hand made tool which is a cut medical syringe needle to make small rivets with a diameter of 0.2 mm to 0.8 mm

Hello, the next struggle at the construction of the tender. I made some new elements like steps on the endcarriage, some brake lines and valves landed in their place. There is a handbrake crank, grease nipples and stiffeners at the door of the coal box. Two layers of target color also went.

can you tell us a little bit about your painting technique? Which primer do you use and which colours? You seem to do a bit of preshading? Or is the base colour simply black?

Jan in first order i use to impregnate paper by special varnish called in Poland Drewnochron Capon Extra. This is used to impregnate wood. Paper then is simmilar to something like plastic. Then i use a primer MOTIP 1K PRIMER FILLER for cars in large spray. For pre shading use a coomon black matt from tamyia. Then a base colour darkgray (also MOTIP) in spray two or more layer depends how the cover looks. For weathering use some pigments from MIG they have a special sets for lokomotives an railway stock, also oil paints in a tube for painters like Rembrandt Oil colour

Thanks for the info. Using wood varnish is a pretty good idea. I always used primer directy whicb is far from ideal.
