Self-righting rescue boat CARLOT (JSC 871) is now available at http://store.jsc.pl/ scale 1:87. This boat was a real hero during her service - saved more survivors than Carpathia when rescuing Titanic’s passengers: Carlot - rescued 799 survivors, 9 cats, 1 dog and 1 pigeon Carpathia - rescued 705 survivors and 1 dog This is waterline or full hull model. This model was published in co-operation with Dutch Publisher Scaldis http://scaldismodelclub.nl/ few years ago and now you can get it in JSC. Additionally you can get lasercut parts: 871L - lasercut framework and some tiny parts which are difficult to cut out by hand. Moin zusammen,
das ist ein sehr schönes Boot, mit interessanter Geschichte. Die Carlot-Klasse basiert auf dem Entwurf des Rettungsschiffs "Prins Hendrik" von 1951. Dieses liegt in Lelystad als Museumsschiff.
Die 5 Boote waren von 1960 bis 2000 im Einsatz, eine sehr, sehr lange Zeit. Das Gegenstück zu unserer DGzRS ist die niederländische KNRM...und beide Organisationen arbeiten bis heute eng und erfolgreich in der Nordsee zusammen.
Die anderen Boote heissen Bernard van Leer (1965), Gebroeders Luden (1965), Johanna Louisa (1968) und Suzanna (1968).
Da das Boot im Eisenbahn-Maßstab 1/87 - also H0 ist, steht der "Besiedelung" mit einer Mannschaft wenig im Wege. Auch einer reichlichen Superung steht nichts im Wege, es gibt reichlich Fotomaterial dazu...

Ich wundere mich über die Farbgebung des Rumpfes. Die Version der CARLOT aus dem Scaldis Verlag, die ich kürzlich gebaut habe, zeigt ein schwarzes Unterschiff (kein rotes) und die Rumpfwände sind bis zum Wasserpaß durchgehen blau (nicht nur oberhalb der Stoßleiste). Ist das jetzt Gezeigte ein früheres Farbschema?

@ theo modellbau the model that you can see in photos is the prototype model, we printed it just for test build on hp office printer and colours are not correct. Model parts in the kit have correct colours, So what you have built is correct.
It is confusing, we must admit. Sorry about that.
