That's a nice challenge so I want to join 
In my big pile of models there most be also some lighthouses.
I have all the Dutch lighthouses from Sjoerd Hekking:
I chose the lighthouse from Haamstede.
This lighthouse is build in 1837 - 1840 and is 53 meters high.
The architect was L. Valk.
I started to make a copy because Sjoerd Hekking stopped to sell this lighthouses.
First I cut out the base and glued it on a piece of carton:
That's a nice base for the lighthouse

Hallo Fred,
Leider hab ich nicht alle Bögen von Herrn Hekking. Aber diesen habe ich auch, den ich habe ihn schon öfter in Natur betrachten können. Er legt ziemlich oben in meinem Stappel.
