great work so far -especially the refined joystick. These Halinski cockpits are very detailed and take their time, doing two at once certainly is a challenge for one´s patience.

yes, that is a shame with the Halinskis. One spends days, even weeks with the cockpit and then most of it vanishes. I guess it is some kind of zen, good to do the job für the job´s sake and satisfying to know what went in there.
Glass-nosed bombers like the Ju-88 allow much more cockpit details to be seen later.

Hi Zaphod,The complex process itself is fun, and the result is not necessarily embodied. This is my understanding of Halinski's design. This's one of the reasons it has a higher price.

Or putting a lot of effort into a radial engine that is mostly hidden under the cowling. Worst example of this I had was building Modelik's La-5fn radial engine. I know I built it (though the detail isn't that great) but probably no one else will ever see it (unless the model is takan apart again ;).

Dear Rene,
I think a lot of times we really satisfy our wishes. When we recall the process of making models, we feel satisfied. Instead of showing them after the final completion.
