Completed tires and working on the trailer chassis;
Still working on the chassis;
Hi Owen,
is the trailer a part of that model or belongs it to another kit? It looks a little bit smaller.
The tires work again very realistically.
Jagdpanther,
Sorry, I forgot to specify the source of the trailer.
The trailer can be downloaded for free of charge.
You can get it at following page;

it's amazing. I'm also building that free model, but yours job and mine ir like day and night. Very exelent modeling. I just want to ask. The tires protector part (34), you cut every protector separately, or just deepen lines?I'm very gald, that you modeling trailer, because it will be like a tutorial for me.
/* Dovaldas, Thanks for your words. the tire tread is made by following process.
1. Glue part 34 around the tire base,
2. Cut part 34a and part 34b and attach them on the designated spots.
3. Sand lightly
4. Paint in black
5. Apply green to wheel part lightly.
6. Coat with white pastel powder
7. Apply brown pastel powder to where stain or mud may stay
Hope it is helpful to you...

Hi, Owen,
You show us an interesting technology, which leads to a very beautiful result. Perfectly built and a piece of gloss of each collection.
Kindly regards
Josef

// fuchsjos, Thank you for your words.
// missy mouse, feel like I should install security alarm.. ^^;
Completed weathering the trailer;
"perfect" is not the right word....
it looks like you can step in and drive away....!
absolutely a masterpiece.
now you can quit cardmodelling,because a better built kraz will never exist...(maybe...)
// Peter, I don't know what to say about your excessive compliment...
Thank you very much ! :yahoo:
Painted the basket green.
It took time 'cause the basket itself is the biggest structure of the truck.
better watchout..some one may try to hot wire it
Weathered the basket;
The serial number of my Kraz is 79.
My Kraz is almost ready.
However, I decided to leave the basket uncovered.
(There can be various reasons though... ^^;)
The remainder of the making process is to build the base.
=D> =D> =D>
Congratulations, perfect job done!
Awesome :respekt: :respekt: :respekt:
It looks better than real!!!!!
Thank you Bernie and Ricleite. :yahoo:
Today, I bought 21 inch x 9.5 inch wood plate for the base.
As you may know, the cabin and the baskets are attachable.
The first picture shows my kraz UN-ASSEMBLED.
Now, only the base is left.
Absolutely perfect car - I don't know the right words for it. Absolut geile Karre !

Hello, folks!
It's been a while. Sorry for the late update.
As you might have seen in my previous posts, my KrAZ was completed.
But I wanted to make base for it.
I made it and completed a month ago.
Today, I'm posting the pictures of the process for the base and the nameplate for my KrAZ.
Starting with the board.
- the positions of the axles of the truck and the trailer are marked on the board.
- using small drill, made holes for mounting the posts.
- The size of the posts are 40mm and the diamiter of each is 1 mm.
- prepared for painting
1. flat black spray
2. whilte spray... that forms "ROUGH" surface
using DRIED MOSS, made some bushs.
painted using light brown, some white, and some black...
HATS OFF =D> =D> =D>
Now, it's time to make the nameplate.
Using Microsoft Power Point, made the tamplate for the nameplate.
To give it some more realistic feeling, made each character embossed.
Yes, it was made Aug. 10.
Then it was painted black and then painted with thin red, which gives some rusty feeling.
After that, weathered it using white/brown/green pastel powder.
Hi Owen, I realy love to watch your work. Im from Indonesia. I want to try make this one. can You help me where can I get the this pattern?
sorry my Englisg no very well, this is the second language for me.
thank you.
warm regard,
Dimetrius
Hi Dear Fellow Modelers,
Long time no see!
After 10+ year hibernation, I resumed crafting with a locomotive; Py27 Angraf 1/25
Took out the old truck, cleaned it up and get some pictures with the train(s).
Will comeback to Military side soon
wow ...I ve found this report while researching for not armoured paper vehicles
After a few attempts at fighters planes, I will now switch to civil unarmed vehicles. I like the heavy weathering of off-road vehicles - with planes you are more restricted and can't put it on so "thickly"...
I also follow your report on the Modelik Willys Jeep model...
