Swedish Monitor HMS Folke, Paper Shipwright 1/250

Wieder hallo aus Kalifornien! Hier sind ein paar Fotos von meinem letzten Projekt. Das Modell selbst wurde ohne besonderen Schwierigkeiten gebaut und ist ohne Einschränkungen empfehlenswert.

Tschuess!

Hello, Zaphod. To answer your question, probably not. I picked up this kit on the cheap when Paper Models International sold their business some time back. I'm currently building Puigcerda, but that's the last of the Paper Shipwright kits in my stash, and I have promised myself not to buy any more kits until I finish off some of the ones I already have.

Cheers!

Hi Chris,

wonderful and clean built.

Did you use standard railings (LC) for the model, or did you made them by yourself?

:D ... that is a well known pipe dream to every cardmodeller ... :D

Thanks, Peter! I made the railings from quilting thread (less fuzz than ordinary sewing thread), using the templates provided with the kit. The railings are stiffened with medium CA glue and then spray painted. It is not terribly difficult to do once you get used to it.

Tschuess!
