Sechs Achsen Plattform Wagen SSyms 1:25 ModelHobby

Hello

It's time for the presentation of the construction progress of German 6 axis platform wagon SSyms.

The construction began some time ago. For build I use lasercut parts available for this model on the publisher website Model Hobby

The model has complete equipment, a full representation of the brake system and engraved board.I did't use while on its construction resin elements also available.

Cheers :)

Hello everyone.

Another scene with struggle on the platform. Hangers with blocks and triangles already in place.
Bogies wheathering made in the inaccessible places. On the outside pigment will go as I put decals on the right places. Bogies are almost ready only top plate is missing

to be continued... :)

Hello

Thanks for Your words :)

Today first fight with decals. On bogies I'm winner on platform I'm loser.

The probable cause is a thin layer of glossy varnish as the base under the tracing paper.
They did not want to impose nicely and curling up so that I could not straighten them. Additionally I gave two layers.
Until tomorrow all wil dries out nicely, then polish up and i get a smooth surface. With bogies I had no problem nicely imposed after drying gave the aero matt varnish, which nicely covered decals. They don't have bubbles and not shine.

Below shows how it looks on bogies

Cheers :)

Hello

Time for the final gallery of the wagon. Some of the pictures are kind of variation on the theme. I don't have any tiger on this scale but just russian KV to show the scale of platform model. I hope You like it. See you in the next build :)

Below variation :)

Cheers :)

Hello Draccus,

an excellent result. Despite the struggle with some decals it is perfect.
The KV-2 makes for a good demonstration of the size of the Plattform Wagon.

I just read about the NATO-exercise in Poland. The German army had to borrow some Plattform Wagons from the Czech railway because they do not have enough of these wagons for the 30 large amphibious vehicles with which they build ponton-bridges.
