Ripper Works Serie (Tatrakranwagen+Transporter+Radlader+Raupe)

Hallo miteinander,

Henry

Hallo Henry,

I too have a fondness for the RipperWorks models and own nearly all of them. As you say, some of the registrations on the parts are not perfect. Nevertheless, the kits are always well printed and on good stock. They remind me of the old ABC models because the sheets are so densely filled with parts.

You can go to the RipperWorks website and download updated parts for some of the kits (wheels, etc.)

I wish you a sharp scalpel and a steady hand. I will watch with great interest.

Kind Regards,

Cris

Hallo Cris,

thanks for your wishes. By the way, there are no updated parts for my models on the RipperWorks website. Do you have some more detailed informations?

What do you do in Schkeuditz?

Kind Regards
Henry

Hi Henry,

Well after looking here yes of course you are correct. I was thinking of an older kit apparently. Still, lots of good images of the construction process.

I am an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor at Leipzig-Halle Flughafen. I also spend a great deal of time accompanying the aircraft when they go to...rather unpleasant places where we have no maintenance staff or facilities. I have spent many weeks near your home at Frankfurt overseeing Heavy Maintenance at the Lufthansa Hangers. I have some pictures of the A380 in my gallery section if you are interested.

I was in the US Navy when I was younger, and that is where my heart still lies as shipping is by far my favorite subject.

Sorry to rattle on in your thread, lets see some parts! :)

Kind Regards,

Cris
