This card consists of a Phoenix Ax caisson together with two tugs. During "Operation Overlord" the Phoenix Ax caissons were introduced as breakwaters during the landings in Normandy. Later on they were used to repair the Dykes in the Province of Zeeland which were damaged in the end of the war. Later on, after the flooding disaster in 1953 they were used again. The small steamtug "Holland" was deliberately constructed as a more simple model for newbies in our hobby.
The tug "Hudson" saw considerable action during World War II, especially during "Operation Overlord", than painted in grey livery. The Kit has 6 pages, together with pictures, instructions and sketches.
