One of the landing gears is mostly done.

Rather slow progress at the time, but outdoor activities and not much time to build due to other tasks is the reason :)

Thanks for your nice words guys!!

Continued work on the plane today. I'm home with some broken ribs....and today the pain was manageable.I had a crash on my bicycle and the tarmack is very hard when you hit it at 35km/hr....

But onto the build!!

Details on the landing gear. The part is the one at the tip of the Exel #11 blade.6 of that part was to be small hinges at the compression cylinder at the legs.

Landing gear done.
Front and rear side

Canopy is done.

I also started to do the fairings (was that the correct name?) And the guns are done on both side. Did I overdoe the gunsmoke leftover sliding along in the wind effect??

Hepp hepp!!

I know of the repellant effect, and I see it now! I'm glad to have some second opinions about things!
So I'm going to "smear" it out with a spongebrush to see how it acts then.
I guess it will look more "dirty" and not some mud on top of the plates :)

Oooooooooooooooh Johnny!

What did you have done? So much dirt and mud on such a beautiful silver machine!
What's about a diorama a fresh painted machine comes out of a hangar? Tell me why you love dirty and muddy dioramas? That can't be true, that wonderful build plane smeared with...ugly! ;( ;( ;( ;( ;( 8)

Gerald

Hello Johnny,

you are a real friend! And you are not ...kidding? Heh? I'm a little bit suspicious...
When you do it, then you will get a lot of enemies, because here a lot of people also love dirty and muddy dioramas!

Hah, i think there is a great conspiracy: nobody is allowed to build models which shows new things.... Johnny be careful, they are everywhere...
Herzliche Grüße
Gerald

I know :)

I just remove most of it then, and leave some behind.....
It just has to be some dirt around the guns I guess.

Hallo Josve,

your Mustang is so far good and clean built paper plane model. The rest to do is the spinner with propelers, and -if you want, and it is in this model kit included (I don't know about it)- the fuel tanks or optional bombs. I wish you by the finishing of the Mustang to continue of builiding in your usual manear... ;)

Kind regards

Alfred
