The model of the oil storage barge "Rose Shell" is now available.
The harbour at Las Palmas in the Canary Islands was small and it was not initially possible to erect oil storgae tanks for bunker fuel on shore. The oil storage barge "Rose Shell" was built in Britain for the Anglo-Saxon Oil Company in 1921 and towed to Las Palmas. She was used as a floating store for bunker fuel until on-shore tanks could be built.
The model comes on 4 DIN A4 sheets and has about 200 pieces. When complete the model is about 31cm long.
Please visit my website for more information and pictures of the model - it is available for purchase in my on-line shop.
