Hi Paul

Welcome to the list. You may need to define modern-ish - after 2000? After 1980? There are a number of ferry models around:

- I have the Apollo and Earl Granville in my range but both are 1970's designs -
- Cony modellbau has the Ms Mecklenburg-Vorpommern railway ferry 1996 - he also has a number of older ferry models and some free ones
- Mondorfer Bastelbogen has a free model of a small Rhine car ferry -
- GPM have the Polonia -…e/1/200/polonia
- HMV have re-published the Nils Holgerson/Peter Pan -…s-Holgersson/en
- Kartonwerft has a couple of modern ferries but she (Imogen) is taking a long break from selling models at the moment

There are older Wilhelmshaven/Moewe models around too new and second-hand - a couple of ferries are in that range too.

I also have a couple of simple Japanese models in my digital collection - Rainbow Love is one name I can remember.

There are others out there I am sure. Others will likely respond to fill the gaps in my list

Hope this helps
