Hi Hi-Torque,

Another smashing diorama, Micromodels as they were meant to be, a very good example of creating a world of its own by all means,

Thanks,
Gert

Hi Torque,

I'm a fan of micromodels in general and of this fine example in particular.
Beautiful build and mise-en-scene.

Cheers,

Bruno

Bruno, Jan and Gert,

Thank you for you kind words. I very much enjoy building Micromodels. Part of the fun for me is researching the subject and adding little details as I see fit.

Some notes on the construction:

The base is foamcore shaped to add some variety in height and then overlaid with paper. the grass, and dirt were made by coating the base in a layer of unused coffee grounds and tea leaves which were then drybrushed in several layers to add relief.

The wheat is a chopped up paint brush and the fence was made from whittled wooden matchsticks.

Kind Regards,

Cris
