Hallo,
The Badisches Landesmuseum in Karlsruhe inherited a collection of over 3000 Papermodels! So they decided to make an exhibition about Papermodels in spring 2009. They asked me, whether I wanted to build the Maxwell House. Of course I agreed!
The kit contains 4 two-colour sheets(A3) and 1 base on heavy cardboard. The base was missing, si I had to do without it! There has also been a cover and the one sheet with instructions. That's all!

The scale says quarter-inch scale. I presume that means quarter inch to one foot? Which would be 1:48. The kit is a Mini-Mansion Model published by 101 Productions, San Francisco. It was designed from Roy Killeen in 1974.
The parts are printed quite densely on the sheets. Normally, but not always they tell you where to fold up or down. -
First I had to find my way among all the parts, as there has been no picture of the assembled model. The only idea of the model I got from the cover and some photos in the internet, which showed the same view than the cover!
There have been many mistakes in the construction! So I decided to build it "as it has been". If I wanted to eliminate all the mistakes I nearly more had to construct the model myself! But still I think the result looks quite nice....if you don't look too close!Günter
