Oh yes, just another exciting build of a great plane, this one is on my Su family short list in 1:50 scale.
The camu of the polish version is too dark - where did you get/find the template
for the refurbishment ?

Kanzel

Aber die Kanzel in diesem Modell schien zu gross zu sein. Das sieht heilkels aus. Auf den Buchbildern ist doch viel kleiner.

Yes, the canopy is the greatest shortcoming of this model

Hi marmot,

Perfect construction/repaint among perfect pictures.

Quoted

from your homepage:
Fit and detailing are pretty good, but outlines of model is not perfect - gargrot and canopy are oversized, front gear is too short and main gears are too long, nose is wrong shaped, errors in armament.

Have you corrected all this deviations? Or was the Polish SU-22 (Export Version) just different from the Soviet aircraft? If Yes, can you please show us the details?

Regards
René

No wBa[nie. To jest powielenie poprzedniej wersji z MM. Ta kabina po prostu psuje caBy efekt wykonania.

OK
Also noch einmal in Deutsch.

Genau. Das ist die wiederholte Version der frühere Su von Maly . Diese Kanzel einfach zerstört die ganze Ausführung.

No I have not, model builded as is, just repainted. Su-22M4 is an export version of Su-17M4 it is the same plane, difference in equipment only.

Great build!

The plane's always been one of my favourites too.
I must say I'm very tempted to make my own and try my luck with a scatch-built canopy.
I would prefer to use an original painting though.
Has anyone an idea where I might find some pictures to figure out about the original prints quality?

regards ... Lennart
