Lublin R VIII bis / 1:33 / Cardplane 2005.

Dear Friends!

This time I'll show You the construction of model as in title.

That was reconaissance/bomber plane of polish navy just before WW2. There was used only a few copies of that aircraft. All of them were destroyed shortly after beginning of the fight in September 1939.

Kind regards to you all!

Hello Mariusz.

The Lublin R-VIII bis is a very interesting choice of yours and will presumably, no, definitly turn into a beauty in your hands!
I do like those odd-looking seaplanes. (Odd by todays standards, of course) ^^
I´ll follow your report closely since i´ve got this one in my stash too.

Kind regards.

Pilot's chair mounted into cockpit ;)

The pilot belts modelled on another machine ( plane) from the same period.

The same-stage of the cockpit interior was completed. The culmination is the addition of the side walls with the other equipment:

My dear friend,

this here is a community about building card-models.
I would be glad to see you create planes of paper and cardboard instead of taking pictures of planes in a museum.
Even if the pictures are incredibly good.

Cheers, Chico

I've decided to enriched the coolers.

Step by step ; first-I've put the epoxy - resin glue into the ready cardboard parts-into back/bottom.

Then I"ve made "enrichments" with 0,2 mm copper wire using "moment kleber".Then I've put glossy, colorless varnish:

Then I've put one layer with black, matt paint:

...and finally I've made drybrushing with steel paint:

Now the exhaust pipes ( 18 pieces...)...

Just one question, the relief lines in the tail are just the paint texturization effect, or you also reinforced them?
