Now frame is ready. Engine is almost ready.
IMHO shell look attrractive. There are 44 shells. But I make only one of them.
Model has some mistakes - holes in part K5 is much longer then needed.
Engine has some small errors (some parts are just a 0.5mm bigger then need)

Nice start!! -
I'm impressed Your built speed.
The same problems with inspection holes reported Demon. His relation is in polish language, but he shows all problems on pics.
I will look here and wait progress -
I was ill for three weeks =( and stay at home.
I saw photo of Demon's model. Photos are very poor.
Demon run for one month before me.p.s. I don't understand the desire to glue nuts on all parts. I mean reducer in cylinder box.
-
Selection is show much bigger hole then needed.
-
I read again all Demon`s relation and i can`t agree with You.Why do You think that him pics are poor?
You can find so many details there.
Do You plane to use laser-cut tracs ? -

Do You plane to use laser-cut tracs ?All photos by Demon was made with "backfocus".
Focusing plane is far away from object. Object contour is not sharp. But backplane is sharper then need. I don't want read content of acrylic paint, I want see good making small part in front plane.Yes. I have laser cuts tracks for PIV and I will use them.
I will try to make main parts like original.

I was made 44 shells. I found some problems - detail 18 have no fornt cover. Marked position for placing detail 14 is shift to front by 4mm. Detail 14 mounted to close to detail 12. Details with number 9 must be shifted both into center for 4mm each!
P.S. I am need quality interrior photos of the Panzer IV/Jagdpanzer IV (800x600 or greater).
Please send me it or send me link to them or place it here.
Thank You!P.P.S. Merry Christmas! :yahoo:

kool job on the model so far. what technique did you use to make the ammo? i think it looks great :).
-
Shells was originally print with metallic colour. I simply use acrylic "gold" paint for white edges. Beacause paper was 80g/m2 - I am used three circles (diameter of each 4.4, 3.5, 3.5mm cutted from cardboard 0.5 mm thick) and glu them inside each shell to make it more hard...
Thats's all folks... =)

Happy New Year!
Two days was fly away.
springs was cut from whole black cardboard. -
I make teeth by cutting with Olfa knife.
-
Interior was done. (I spent many time for found interior photos... There are so small inforn\mation about it =(
I must glue some wires between blocks of radiostation.
-
stripeless barell and gears with teeth. All are moving in 2d.
I remake ugly MG42 from original to this one. I am used my photos of MG42 from museum of the Poklonnaya Gora. -
And more MG42... All windows was cutted. I am use thin metallic paper 80g/m2. I think it look more realistic.
-
