Hello,
Please excuse my posting many pictures....
Hello,
Your models are showing quality I never expected one can build in paper. So go on and show us more. It would be nice to watch your work in progress too.
greetings, Peter
Hello,

I'm very much impressed! :meister:
Please show us still more pictures, particularly from the tail wheel and the cockpit.

Hi Yu,
now we have both versions here. Yours in flying configuration and mine in parking configuration.

Most impressive work you show us.
But tell us where you put all your models. You said your flat is quite small.
Cheers
Jan
Hi Jan,
It's suuuuuuuuuupeeeer @)
You have done great job @)
Before I started construction, I thought which one to chose. Flying configuration or parking configuration again flying or parking......
Finally I opted for flying configulation.
Yours is really really really impressive. Congratulations!!!
I put all of airplanes on the wall using fishing line.
Now two sides of walls are occupied with my airplanes.

Hello Yu,
can you make a picture of your fishing line with "captured planes"?
Wonderful model! Congrats!
Cheers Bernhard

Hi Yu,
thanks for more pictures. It's like a benefit for the eyes after a long day! :]
Your version to keeping the models I've never seen before, but it is interesting!

Bernd
Hi Martin,
How observant you are. I was impressed!
I use "Bond for woodwork", in literal translation, manufactured by KONISHI. According to Wikipedia it was released in 1952 and soon KONISHI became a leading bond manufacturer in Japan as their domain name bond.co.jp implies.
This is water-based glue for woodwork and paperware.
It takes relatively long time to get dry. After taking it out color is white then after dried it becomes transparent.
I always take care not to let glue run off. But, very often glue run off as a matter of course.
If it dries on paper surface, it becomes glossy and standout though transparent.
Immidiately after it runn off I wipe it off with finger tip or tip of tweezer. By wiping it off immidiately, there remains no visible trace.
I do not know if you have this in Germany. Here this is very familiar glue to Japanese.
Best regards,
Dear Yu and Martin,
I may add that "Bondo" is very similar to what would be Wiccoll in Germany...
Have a nice weekend,
Matthias
Wow!!!! What a collection =D> =D> =D>
I'd love to see some more pictures, of the planes on the other wall, as well
Aren't they a bit exposed to dust?
Hi Ricleite,
Thank you for your kind words.
I have already posted almost all of my planes.
F16 and F4F I have not posted yet. Pix I took when they were completed were not so good. As you asked, piled up dust, aging and nicotin tainted their surface. I noticed this after taking Corsair's picture recently and reluctant to take new picture.
Taking advantage of Japan'S smoker friendly society, I am still smoking.
I must quit if I continue card modelling.
By the way, according to my observation, both Japan and Germany are smoker friendly countries.
Best regards,
Hi,
I meant that your planes look so good that they definitely deserve to be preserved carefully.
I guess that if you stop smoking, it will be better for your models and for you as well Anyway, it is your choice, of course...
Hi Ricleite,
Thank you for your advice.
Today I will make a sally. No smoking on the plane.
Best regards,
Hallo Yu Gyokubun
Jan
Ups :rotwerd: :rotwerd: ja hast recht Jan ÄÄ wolt mir blos nicht den Hals beim betrachten verenken :rotwerd: :rotwerd:
Hi Martin,
Thank you for taking the trouble to translate.
Posting my planes' picture of unnatural position a couple of days forced me to crane my neck too and caused stiff neck. After Gusti turned it, my neck is unstiffened :).
Now, I knew my planes are pitty hanged on the wall all the time. They can not take off.....
Please tell my best regards to Gusti.
Good night. I will be able to sleep well tonight since, thanks to Gusti, pain in my neck is alleviated
PS. Today I asked one of my colleague about German language. He said " I warn you. You never try to learn it. It too dificult."
Hi Martin,
It might be good for my health to go out with rubber planes sometimes.
note: Thread starter carefully chose the picture that looks natural in order not to give someone uneasiness or craned neck or twisted neck.
Best regards,
