Takao

Still my favourite cruiser

Just a suggestion try and get the roof on the hanger as quickly as possible the aft end is a bit fragile when handling the model.

gruss

Good suggestion! Though on instruction mannual I should finish command center first... I will cover the hanger first!!!

Guter Vorschlag!

The hull side of TAKAO is the most sophiscated I have ever made....
The torpedo lunch window is a 3 dimention structure rather than a plan...

also add some small windows on hull side... because of it's small size, I lost some thanks for the PDF file I can reprint as much as I wish....

close view of the deck
Due to the scale down ,some box on deck can not be built in mannual way. In mannual these box are composed of five face:up,right, left, front and back, in 1:400 I just double it to 1MM card and cut four face only keep up face...

As you said it's hard to built in 1/400 scale so it need time to make every parts OK. It need time to finish the TAKAO one month or two month?? I have no idea....

That is excellent work - please tell us how you're cutting out the small concave curves so cleanly. =D>

Cheers,

Oliver
