Free PANHARD-178 1/48

New free model in Papermodels-BG - Panhard 178, Scale 1/48. Designer is Vitalii Morduhovich. Very nice, but not easy model. Get it free HERE

Tis model seems to be exact considering its shape and dimensions.

But colouring and marking are totally wrongs.
This armoured car is painted like the one in the Kubinka museum : it is evident that not any historic research was conducted on it.

Anyway, the french AMD 35 Panhard was a very good armoured car, with good weapons and mobility. In the german invasion of France in May 1940, the AMD 35 reconnaissance units suffered heavy losses, following the very stiff fights with the Wehrmacht. Captured machines were put in line by the German Army on the Eastern Front.

The AMD 35 was used with the french army in Indochina far beyond 1945.
