Hi Mav,
thanks for the introduction. However I had to remove some of the photos because it is not allowed to show swastikas in Germany.

Cheers

Wouw!

Hi Mav33,

wonderful work!

She is a cute thing, this old loco.
I think, that it is interesting to build the steamengine as whitemodel, and paint it self, because there are some different paintings.

But the scale is the problem. The most modellers are building in 1/32 (Gauge 1) and the overwhelming majority scale is 1/35.

Thanks for the work!

Greetings

RE: Wouw!

Dear Mav33,

I see it like Hadu, the scale, do you think it could be possible to realize the 86 in 1:32 and 1:35...

Should be possible to program the laser in a different scale and use other paper thickness???

What do you think?

Kind Regards
Gordon

Hello Mav33,

the pictures promise a very interesting model.

But I agree with the question of Gordon. By knowing that most paper railroad models are made in scale 1:25 the usual sizes for combining it with "real" model railroads would be 1:22,5 (gauge II, +10%) and 1:32 (gauge 1, -28%). I´m sure this would give you a larger market for your model.

Is this possible?

Best regards

Hey guys,
being a designer myself I doubt that it is possible to simply scale the lasercut. The whole design depends on the chosen paper thickness.
For some reason railway cardmodels where chosen to be 1:25, most likely because it is not based on imperial units. Most of the other models are fractions of imperial units, e.g. 1 inch to the foot.

Different scales..

Hi,

GPM offers his new lasercut-models, different armoured trains in all the regular scales from HO to 1/35.
They are very nice, and there are made in different thicknesses of the card as possible.
