Hello,
wasn't it the castle where Leonardo da Vinci lived? He was guest in some of the castles in the Loire region.

With the best redards

Good day!

Thank all for comments!

To modellschiff

No, da Vinci didn't lived here! Far as I know, the double-helix staircase near François I wing in Blois, similar the Leonardo's staircase in Chambord. And some people say, that Leonardo designed Blois staircase too. Maybe so, but maybe not.

Hi BeatClub,

very nice photos of a very impressive model!
I like that. It looks very realistic, also the
pictures of the illuminated model. They remind
me of a visit of the castle a few years ago.
There was an event called "son et lumière" (sound and light),
in which the story of the castle was told, while
the castle was illuminated in different colours
and with differents pictures. It seemed
very unreal and mysterious, but was very exciting.
Your picture of the blue illuminated chapel
gives an impression of how it looked like.

Best regards,
Torben
