RE: Bombed out building

Hi :)

I finished another one bombed out building... it is part of my new "war" diorama in 1/160 scale. All is from paper and colored by tempera and water color. Size of model is 55 x 45mm. Enjoy....

Praguemodels:

Wow that really looks good. It is completely builded from scratch or is it a model like the one of Johnny?

Marco:

I agree with you, that there are people (like me) who like to see a more detailed report (maybe some pictures during the build).

Sorry I have no pics from construction :) BUt I try explain it on another building....

1. prepare basic destroyed wall from 1mm paper (i use paper from back side of calender)
2. prepare mastic - combination white tempera and acrylyc mastic (cca 1:1)
3. aplicate first layer (only there where you want have fresh brick)
4. wait for dry and after it color to red
5. wait......
6. take a needle and make softly structure of brick....

7. aplicate second layer of mastic - place where you want facade
8. wait....
9. color facade with tempera a water color.....

This is the same workflow for my another diorama... and pics of my model of Old-New Synagoge in Prague 1/160... for build was used the same princip...

Remember - all is color and light :)
