Cf. Phil's "Porter 0-4-0"

Hello Matthias,

that was a really nice and colourful subject; could be a wonderful gift at this season.

Have you thought to compare it with Phil's, "The Wood Engraver", very similar engine, the Porter 0-4-0 (also a free download at Papermodelers.com; see picture below)?

I just happened to download it yesterday and found it to be a quite wonderful model, both in design and pattern (love that wood pattern, in contrast to the sooty black!). It is also a true scale model.

But the model you came upon is of course better for children, particularly since you can customize it in six different versions. Good for a whole host of grandchildren!

Cheers, Leif

PS. Could you explain what "der Achterbahn" is?

Thanks Peter!

It is. This is not a normal railway train...

Thanks Leif!

Although I know the other model, I did not realy compare the two. Just found it at the Disney page and spread the news. Other models at the Disney page are quite good.

Good night,

Matthias
