Continuing the work for tires
The wheels were sanded.
Main build #1 after two test builds.
The closest one with yellowish side walls are the main build #1
I decided to paint these three to see how they look.

After 15 hours....
The side walls are all done.

Here I made the side wall of the tire.
A thin donut part is glued to a thick donut part.

The gab between two donut parts was filled with tissue paper and sealed.
The side wall was glued to a tire.
It took about 1hr for me to finish one side wall.
15 more to go.... 15 hours...

Here comes the second test build.
The second tire is top one or standing one.
I adjusted the tread depth and reduced the side wall curvature.
The tread depth looks OK on the second tire but the side wall on the first tire look better to me.

hope that you have a correct Copy. Please check all the sides, there is a big mistake in one side. it is "spiegelverkehrt", can not translate this.

I don't have a correct copy either. Even though it was my recent purchase though.
If the page is only a mirror image, I should be fine. It's annoying.

Here comes the 2nd build.

OK, after a fair amount of sanding, the first test run is done.
It looks fine. The building process needs a few modifications though.

Here comes tread patterns.
the original design is just as thick as a sheet of paper.
0.20 mm x 25 (magnification) = 5 mm
That is in real scale, the tread depth would be only 5 mm..
That would be so shallow.
I added 0.5 mm thick card board, making total thickness to 0.7 mm
0.7 mm x 25 = 17.5 mm. Hmm acceptable.
Without a laser cutter, all manual cuttings....

Based on a historical photo of 116, I don't like the original design.
I should comment that 17e parts are a lot smaller than they should.
I could not figure out how I could cover the step by 17a and 17b with them.
So I added rim parts

I made a side wall, making two donut shape parts and stuffing them with tissue paper.

Four wheels front, four wheels rear, two spares.

I am not quite satisfied with the side wall of a tire.
After assembling three side wall parts and forming a side wall, I found that the side wall looked so unrealistic.
I wanted to use the original parts but I just don't have a way to save them, forming smooth round wall.

I am starting a new model of [Angraf] Sd.Anh. 116 Nr 3/2010 1:25, which is known as a FAMO trailer.
I hope I could start and finish a FAMO as well.
I expect the building work would take a long time and even I haven't finished GRIEF yet.
My goal would be, by the end of the next year, I would connect a FAMO to this trailer, loading a vehicle on the trailer.

Original designs for axles have empty space inside.
It is difficult to make a right shape and weak.
