First repaint page done! It's in A4 and everything is looking great.
If anyone knows that Mr. Dmitry Udalow once had a Su-30SM model with such paint. Since it is no longer available for assembly, I started to repaint a Su-30MKI model by the same author with new parts upgraded to "new heights" such as radar, canopy, new 3d vector exhaust pipes better than Su-37:

Although I still have an unfinished Su-57, I decided to repaint this Su-30SM.
Bought on ecardmodels.com and here is the cover photo:
Since this is one of my first repaints, I'm going to use a simple paint scheme:
Black is the dominant color and Model No. 54 red white outline
The repainting was done on Inskape, I started it with the nose.
I put the parts from A3 to A4 but kept the 1:33 ratio

Very nice! How did you make the cocpit canopy? Is it vacu formed?
I used one of the two ways below:
Note this is just the basic way to form it...
Method 1: I use a PET plastic bottle, prepare the default mold from the developer like this:
Stiffen the frame and put it inside the PET bottle along with a wooden stick to keep the frame from wobbling. Make sure the PET is fully stretched when inserted into the frame. Use a candle or heat gun, stove to heat it. Do not heat it too long in one pot or place it too close to the heat source because it will cause the plastic to burn.
Method 2: I used an office glass cover. Cut it according to the available pattern. Using a rigid frame, I pressed the glass cover onto the compatible frame like this:
Heat it lightly over the fire, just quickly pass it over the flame, not like method 1. Just like that, it can bend and give the desired shape. The downside is that it is not very pretty however, it seems to "respect the original"

This month last year, I started building the paper model. This model is finished, marking 1 year of papercraft for me!
I completed this model in just over a week and a half.
Dmitry Udalow's models always please me with their balanced layout and ease of execution. The aerial refueling tube is very good, the air intake is very realistic.
In short, it's great!

I did not use extra cardboard for the frame
so I only use 160gsm paper...
This model uses an articulated paper frame, so that is a common feature of models of the same author (Dimitry Udalov)
Other models (Hobbymodel, Halinski,...) need to use cardboard thicker than 1mm
Particularly for this model, thick paper can be used along with other details. Only they won't be sure.
