Hello Ferrarifan

great work so far -especially the refined joystick. These Halinski cockpits are very detailed and take their time, doing two at once certainly is a challenge for one´s patience.

This challenge is not difficult for me whenever I think of someone cutting the tank tracks :D

The two parts of the cockpit are closed and the details are not visible.

Please ignore the packaging of gum. It is not an advertisement. This box is used for small parts :P

Hello Ferrarifan,

yes, that is a shame with the Halinskis. One spends days, even weeks with the cockpit and then most of it vanishes. I guess it is some kind of zen, good to do the job für the job´s sake and satisfying to know what went in there.

Glass-nosed bombers like the Ju-88 allow much more cockpit details to be seen later.

Kind regards

Zaphod

Hi Zaphod,

The complex process itself is fun, and the result is not necessarily embodied. This is my understanding of Halinski's design. This's one of the reasons it has a higher price.

Or putting a lot of effort into a radial engine that is mostly hidden under the cowling. Worst example of this I had was building Modelik's La-5fn radial engine. I know I built it (though the detail isn't that great) but probably no one else will ever see it (unless the model is takan apart again ;).
Best regards
Rene

I replace the paper tyre with a rubber seal. I grind the outer contour of the wheel with sandpaper and wrap it on the hub made of paper.

Dear Rene,
I think a lot of times we really satisfy our wishes. When we recall the process of making models, we feel satisfied. Instead of showing them after the final completion.

I come from a distant country, China, my mother tongue is not English, so we need to be tolerant of each other :P

My paper modeling experience is not long, about 6 years. But few people in my country have this hobby, most people are making plastic models and I've been playing plastic models for many years, over 15 years. and I have to refer to the European player production process through this site. It's my pleasure to meet you here.

BRs
William from China.
