That engine is very, very well made. How did you accomplish the front rounded part?

Hi Leif
at first i assembled oridinal detail
inside i sticked small paper pieces for solidity
then i was puttying ouside
and align by emery-paper
and painted
unfortunately i have not photos,
but in model there is analogous detail
and i will make photos when assambly

Gorgeous engine sir! I look forward to seeing more of your nicely built details. You might say I'm a detail addict. :)

hi alex,
very nice build so far. Are you going to modify the wheel of landing gear somehow or is it finished? What I remember from my gathering of materials, smooth tyres were not common on later Thuds, chequered patterns or circumferential slots were used often...

That is probably the most detailed and well built wheel wells I have seen. Warm congratulations. In particular I appreciate the extra layers of stringers, and the small strips of aluminium foil to mimic polished steel parts in the hydraulic landing gear. - L.
