GPM, Nr. 184, Focke-Wulf Fw190 D-9, 1:33

    :usenglish:After finishing the B5N2 "kate" I started working on the GPM B-17, only to stop progress on that to start a different kit. I decided to start the GPM FW190 D-9. The kit comes with 4 full color pages of parts, and 2 full pages of pieces that are to be glued to 1mm cardboard. It has a detailed cockpit, and a somewhat detail engine, wheel wells, and a removable cover over the machine gun bay in front of the canopy. The overall printing and coloring looks very good. I have stared working on the fuselage and will update the progress when time permits.


    Nachdem Beenden vom B5N2 "kate" ich angefangen habe, bearbeiten den GPM B-17 nur Fortschritt auf das aufzuhalten, einen verschiedenen Satz anzufangen. Ich habe entschieden, den GPM FW190 D-9 anzufangen. Der Satz kommt mit 4 vollen Farbenseiten der Teile, und 2 ganzseitige der Stücke, die zu 1 mm Pappen geklebt werden sollen. Es hat ein ausführliches Cockpit, und eine etwas Detailmaschine, Räderbrunnen, und eine abnehmbare Decke über der Maschinengewehrbucht vor dem Baldachin. Das, das insgesamt und druckt, färben anschaut sehr gut. Ich habe bearbeiten den Rumpf gestarrt und wird den Fortschritt wenn Zeit die Genehmigungen aktualisieren.




    Die deutsche Übersetzung war Computer, der erzeugt worden ist. Micheal, oder jemand anders, lässt mich wissen, wenn es genau genug ist, gefolgt zu werden und verstanden zu werden. Wenn doch dann werde ich es jederzeit ich aufstelle und hoffentlich außer Ihnen eine Zeit benutzen.

    :usenglish:I have finished the internal fuselage formers. This is the most complex way of using formers in a fuselage that I have built so far. You can probably tell that the pieces are just slid into slots to be held in place. Also, the model can be built with moveable or fixed tail surfaces and flaps. I have chosen to build the more complicated design for the moveable rudder and the rest of the tail surfaces. The next step will be the machine guns. :D



    Ich habe das Spantengerüst fertig. Dies war das komplizierteste Gerüst, das ich bis jetzt gebaut habe. Auf dem Bild sind die Spanten noch nicht verklebt, sondern nur ineinandergesteckt. Das Modell kann mit festen oder beweglichen Steuerflächen gebaut werden. Ich habe mich für das kompliziertere Design mit beweglichen Steuerflächen entschieden. Der nächste Schritt sind die Maschinengewehre

    Schön, dass wir auch im Forum die FW-190 sehen dürfen. Ich habe 2 Ausgaben von dem Modell, aber ich habe mich bisher nicht getraut diese Modelle zu bauen. Alleine die filigrane Arbeit und die Menge an EInzelteilen. Da habe ich großen Respekt davor.


    Ich bin weiter auf den Baufortschrit gespannt.

    :usenglish:Unfortunetly I do not own a scanner, so I will be building the model "as is" Hopefully I will have a scanner soon so that I can make a back up of all of my models, and it would also allow me to fix certain mistakes.

    Unfortunetly den ich keinen Scanner besitze, deshalb werde ich das Modell bauen "als ist" Hoffentlich ich werde einen Scanner bald haben, damit ich ein hinteres auf von allen von meinen Modellen, und ihm auch machen kann, würde erlauben, dass mich gewisse Fehler repariere.

    Progress is going very slowly, but I have managed to do a little. I should hopefully finish up the cockpit in the next few days. So far I have the seat, the rudder pedals, and the joystick in place. I also have the machine gun bay about half done. It still needs the machine guns I only have two complaints so far. First of all, 14 pieces, most of them being left and right doubles of the other, are printed on the backside of one of the instruction pages. I solved the problem by taking several pictures of the instructions so that all hope is not lost when it comes time to cut those pieces out. Also, there is a slight fit problem in with the machine gun bay. It will be explained in the photos. Everyting else is top notch!



    I made the seat harnesses from aluminum foil. I then painted them with grey acrylic and added a staple for the metal adjustor. (The seatbelts were 4 of the parts printed on the backside of instructions)

    Wenig Fortschritt, aber ich konnte ein wenig bauen. Hoffentlich bekomme ich das Cockpit in den nächsten Tagen fertig. Bis jetzt habe ich den Sitz, die Ruderpedale und den Steuerknüppel eingebaut. Der Maschinengewehrträger ist halb fertig. Die Maschinengewehre fehlen noch.


    Bis jetzt nur zwei Beschwerden. Erstens sind 14 Teile, meistens welche, die links und rechts gleich sind, auf der Rückseite einer Anleitungsseite gedruckt. Das Problem habe ich gelöst, indem ich die Anleitung fotografiert habe und hoffe, dass ich alles erkennen kann, wenn ich es brauche.


    Beim Maschinengewehrträger gibt es eine kleine Paßungenauigkeit. Die Fotos verdeutlichen das. Alles andere ist oberste Klasse.


    Ich habe die Sitzgurte aus Alufolie gemacht, die dann mit grauer Acrylfarbe bemalt wurde. Eine Heftklammer für die Längenverstellung. Die Gurte waren 4 der Teile, die auf der Rückseite der Anleitung gedruckt waren.

    This was the fit problem I mentioned above. The brown piece is too big. If it were installed how it is supposed to be, the machine guns would never fit through the holes. I marked those holes with red, and the red arrow being the machine gun. The brown piece has a grey strip in it that is a strap and a bucke. I believe that it is supposed to be horizontal, but if I installed it that way it would make the brown piece even taller and make the holes even further apart. Instaed I installed it the wrong way in order to make the it fit a little better, and then I basically pushed it down until the holes aligned. The Brown piece is supposed to align with the yellow line that I have drawn. I hope that makes sense ?(

    Dies ist die angesprochene Paßungenauigkeit. Das braune Teil ist zu groß. Wenn ich es eingebaut hätte, wie es sein sollte, hätten die MG's nie durch die Löcher gepasst. Ich habe diese Lööcher mit einem roten Punkt gekennzeichnet, der rote Pfeil stellt das MG dar. Das braune Teil hat einen grauen Streifen. Ich glaube, der muß horizontal sein, aber wenn ich das so einbaue, dann wäre das braune Teil noch höher und die Löcher noch weiter auseinander. Stattdessen habe ich es falschherum eingebaut, damit es etwas besser passt und habe es dann praktisch heruntergedrückt, bis die Löcher in einer Linie waren. Das braune Teil soll eigentlich mit der gelben Linie abschliessen, die ich gezeichnet habe. Ich hoffe, das macht Sinn...?

    Thank you very much for the compliments guys! Even though I would build the models for fun anyways, it is still nice to get recognition for work. Keep in mind, I'm always open to criticism and suggestions as well. Don't be shy!

    Thanks Thomas. I wish I would have made the metal buckles for the safety belts a bit smaller. They are too big. And, you're right, my pictures are a bit dark. I'll try to do some outdoor shots next time.


    Jan, the reason I stopped working on model was because of the multiple fit problems. There are some rather large gaps in the fuselage. I simply got tired of correcting wrong parts, so I started working on the Halinski F6F-3 Hellcat. I am nearly done with that kit now. I will post pictures of it in the gallery section when it's done.

    The reason that I have not been an active paper modeller lately is because of my new hobby.....I bought my first car. It's a 1982 Mercedes-Benz 380 SEL. Now that I've worked on my car a bunch it is time to start working on paper models again.



    Here is a picture of my new "hobby" that distracted me from paper modeling for a few months. It still needs a lot of work, but I got it for a good price.

    Maybe someday when I find some more patience I will come back to the Fw190. I don't have any pictures of it, but the fuselage is complete. It only needs wings, landing gears, propeller, and canopy.


    Thanks me too. I bought the car for $1750. It immediately needed around $1300 in repair work. After I spend about $2000 more fixing it, it should be good to go for a LONG time. $5000 for a great classic Mercedes vehicle.....not too bad of a deal in my opinion. I do wish I had the 560 SEL though....5.6 litre V8.....drool :rolleyes:

    ...im "Planes & Pilots" FW 190 ist dieses Flugzeug als Profil-Zeichnung abgebildet. Wobei die Verfasser sich uneinig sind, ob diese Rumpfband weiß oder doch eher gelb war.


    Ich habe diesen Bausatz auch auf Lager und bin von der "bleichen" Farbgebung enttäuscht, denn statt der grauen Tarnflecken sollten diese, wie zu diesem Zeitpunkt üblich, "braun-violett" sein.


    Werds vorm Anschnitt versuchen mit Wasserfarbe zu korrigieren...


    By the way- schade dass dieser Baubericht abgebrochen wurde.

    gerade mal wieder hier reingeschaut...Ich hab´ das Ding auch abgebrochen. (Liegt hier immer noch im Karton). Wollen wir mal hoffen, daß Waltair mit einer anderen Grelzcak-Version der FW 190 besser zurande kommt.

    Is das Kunst, oder kann das wech?
