And there it is :yahoo:
The pictures were taken at night and that doesn't help
No problem for the detail pictures, taken at a place at home with good lighting conditions, but that place is too small for the whole model. That's why the general pictures don't look very well...
Regarding the kit, my opinion about Merino improved a lot! So far, I had only built 2 models, both at a much larger scale. At 1/300, the 'simplified' graphics are not a real drawback

Hi Ricardo.
Congratulations on the completion of a superb build. A challenging Merino model was just the right choice to highlight your skills. You began construction quite late in the competition and pulled it off with confidence and aplomb. Museum quality work, Ricardo. Well done!

Ricardo:
Beautiful craftsmanship. It's hard to believe how well this turned out, and in such a short period of time. Another terrific construction report.
Have you tried Merino's Mezquita de Cordoba? That looks like a very interesting, and unusual one.

Thank you very much for your comments Building this model in one month (without holidays...) was quite challenging. One week ago, my feeling was still that I should have tried something easier.
@ David - the other 2 Merino models I built so far are the Colegiata de Toro and the Puerta Nueva de Bisagra. I have 2 more waiting (Puerta del Sol and the Catedral de Palencia). The Burgos Cathedral was so pleasant to build that I ordered some more Merinos from moduni. The Mezquita de Córdoba is not one of them because it was unavailable at the time Same problem for the Basilica del Pilar. I hope that they are not out-of print... -
