Bf-109 F2 - Fly Model

Hi,
here is my newest built plane - Bf-109 F2 from old kit Fly Model nr 85 - cover:

Plane represents machine used by Hans "Assi" von Hanna at the end of 1941 in France (debiut of F version) - hovever I have scheme with all those yellow parts painted in red - don't know if both are correct. You can also find second issue of this kit (Fly Model - Gomix) where plane has grey camouflage - not green. Generally colours used in this kit are wrong (especially bottom side resembls rather russian planes than germans).

I think that correct name of plane is Fridrich (Friedrich?).

Well, fitting parts is rather poor, yellow colour is fading. Look out for parts 3c - 4a - in old issue they have wrong shape (as well as all intakes). Also tank at the botom is poor fitted. I made this model as a small break during building P-47 Thunderbolt - it takes me about 36 hours - many of them for making strong whatering, which interests me very much last times.

Have a fun with photos - more you can find on my private side. There is also longer article about F version (in polish language).

Hi Tadeusz,
very nice build for such a simply designed (from today's point of view) model. The weathering adds a lot to the overall feeling.
