Hallo, George,
herzlich willkommen in unserer illustren Runde!
Old Rutz
Hallo George b,

Hello George,

All I can say is @)

Hello Cyana,
Thank you for introducing me to this forum, also thank you to everyone for the nice comments and warm welcome.
The LUT will one day be complete when it is sitting on a beautiful crawler (hint, hint)
Additional Colby Crane railing details have been added recently.

George
Hello George,

Hello Michael,
I started construction the beginning of June of this year but I don't see it finished any time soon, maybe by the end of the year.

Hallo,
neu und verbessert Lightning Mast!

Hello George,
simply stunning !!! Are your handrails papermade, too ? From what I've seen from the 1/144 kit of DM_Productions, no handrails are included from level 80 upwards.
It's a real pleasure to follow your progress !
greetings

Hello Cyana,
Yes all the handrails are made from card stock, the openings were all individually cut out also......I'm still working on the top 9 levels. I also designed all the handrails for the stairs and added the stairs all the way to the top. As you mentioned, the kit only came with three levels of stairs ?(, I don't know why. I also edited (deleted) the "image" of the stairs on the elevator shaft. Plus so much more.
Hallo,

George
Hello Norm,
Perhaps a need a new translator.....or just post pictures.
I'm embarrassed.

Hallo,
Regards,
George
Hello George,
awesome !!! I guess the swingarms are movable ? Looks like those hinges are fully working ! Do you use transparent foils for the grids on the side of the swingarms ?
I'm really eager to see more - again thanks a lot for sharing your work here
greetings

Hello Cyana,
It's my pleasure with sharing the build.
Yes the swingarms do move (swing) on functioning hinges. I did not print the grids of the swingarms on transparent foil, just regular card stock.
Not much progress to report today I'm afraid, I only designed and installed swingarm gantry #3 and currently I'm working on swingarm #4.
Hallol,
Swing Arm und Bock #4 sind angebracht worden.

George
Good morning George
It's extremely interresting to follow your activities.
Do you cut all the tiny parts by hand,
or do you use a lasermachine or a cutting plotter?
Best wishes for the final steps on your LUT

Hello Ewald,
Every piece has been cut out by hand. Although the use of a laser cutter would have been faster, I don't think it would be as fun as I would not have as many cuts on my fingers. Also, it is a good thing the LUT is red.
Regards,
George
Good one Norm, you are on the "cutting edge" of the jokes.

Hallo,
Regards,
George
All Swing Arms have been installed, also the Power Carrier Array
#2 (PCA) has been installed. Swing Arm Gantry #7, #8 and #9 are being worked on now and will be installed shortly. I will begin installing all the LOX piping next.

George
Here's a few photos of my current work on the LUT.

Hello,
Construction has begun on a 1:60 Crawler Transporter from ALfonso. It has been re-enforced to support the weight of the LUT and MLP. I'm starting the detail work now.
Kind regards,
George
Hello George,
superb construction. Can you tell me something about the pattern you had used to build the LUT and MB?
Regards
Michael
Hi George,
amazing! I especially like the metal texturing of the base.
Keep going!
Cheers

Hello Michael,
I purchased the kit listed below in 1:96 and then enlarged it to 1:60. Alot of additional detailing has been added to this kit, but overall it is very well designed with good fitting parts.

The Crawler is from here;

Also enlarged to the scale I am working on.
I hope this helps.
Kind regards,
George
Hello George,
thank you for the informations.

Michael
Hello,
The crawler is finished so now I'll re-focus my attention back to the LUT where I am continuing to install cable trays.
Kind regards,
George
Hello George,
Congratulations on your build.
It is absolutely beautiful what you have accomplished so far. I think everybody is in awe. It is truly a piece of art.
I have to say that I feel honored by you choosing my Crawler papermodel from my website for this great LUT project.

Hello,
Sorry for the late update. I have completed the installation of all the vertical cable trays and have started installing the horizontal cable trays for each floor. I am having to design each one however, it is taking me some time.
As seen in the last two photos, most will not be seen because of the ECS pipes.
Regards,
George
OMG George !!! It's FREAKING INCREDIBLE COOL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for sharing your awesome and stunning work !!!!!
